Design Workshops (1-3 meetings, March/April 2023)
- CDG will recruit diverse community participants (10-15 people) for each two-hour workshop
- Design Workshop participants will determine messaging and images
- Green Star Movement creates panels based on information garnered from workshops
Installation Workshops (8-12 meetings, late Summer 2023)
- CDG invites community to participate in multiple workshops via email, social media, press releases, etc (up to 20+ people at each two-hour workshop)
- At multiple workshops, participants lay tile on panels created by Green Star until panels are completed
- CDG offers participant engagement at each workshop: “meet someone new”
- Publicity and promotional space available to donors at $500+ level
Unveiling Celebration (1 day, Sept/Oct 2023)
- Green Star attaches panels to Community Center and conceals them until Unveiling Celebration
- CDG invites community to participate in event via email, social media, press releases, etc.
- Event will celebrate culture through food, music, dance, etc.
- Promotional space available to donors at $500+ level
- Publicity and “Sneak Peek” reception available to donors at $1,000+ level
Post-Unveiling (Facility used 50+ hours weekly)
- Name (and/or logo) of business or donor included on Donor Wall Plaque at Community Center for all donations greater than $200.
