Members of the CommUNITY Diversity group meet regularly with the following organizations to advocate for equitable and inclusive decision making. We announce CDG-sponsored and other events that promote diversity and inclusion and encourage board members and the public to attend these events. Occasionally we create and share position statements on relevant topics.

• La Grange Police and Fire Chiefs
• School Boards for Area School Districts 102, 105 and 204
  (Lyons Township High School and some feeder elementary schools)
• Park District of La Grange (PDLG) Board
• La Grange Business Association (LGBA)
• La Grange Area Ministerium (groups of local Pastors and Ministers)
• La Grange Public Library

In April 2024, CDG hosted 40+ executive leaders and board members from community organizations and churches to attend an all-day workshop “Animating Antiracist Ways of Being” facilitated by Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training. Participants had an opportunity to learn about systemic racism, barriers that can interfere with an institution’s intention to create diverse, fair and welcoming spaces, and possible solutions.
